Building on the initial phase launched in Brazzaville, the national sensitization campaign for the Certified Electronic Billing System (SFEC) proceeded on 18 June 2026 in the departments of Pointe‑Noire and Kouilou. The rollout was overseen by Ludovic Itoua, Director General of Taxation and Domains (DGID), who supervised a series of workshops aimed at familiarising tax authorities, businesses and civil society with the functionalities and benefits of the electronic invoicing platform. Sessions included live demonstrations of the SFEC interface, case studies illustrating procedural improvements, and interactive panels that addressed participants’ questions. Emphasis was placed on ensuring compliance with the new tax reporting obligations, reducing tax evasion, and modernising fiscal administration. Stakeholders expressed confidence that the SFEC will streamline revenue collection, enhance data accuracy, and support the broader digital transformation agenda of the Ministry of Finance. The campaign’s continuation reflects the government’s commitment to fostering widespread adoption of electronic invoicing as a cornerstone of a more transparent and efficient tax system.
