His Excellency Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Mulla, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), reaffirmed the authority's commitment to boosting Emirati talent within the UAE tax system. Speaking at an FTA Customer Council in Dubai themed "Emirati Tax Agent," Al Mulla highlighted an integrated strategy aimed at attracting, qualifying, and expanding the pool of UAE Nationals in this growing strategic sector. He emphasized that recent years have proven the capability of nationals to excel within the financial ecosystem.

The Customer Council serves as a participatory platform to foster direct communication between the government and stakeholders, gathering feedback to enhance service design and promote voluntary compliance. Al Mulla underscored that Tax Agents are vital to the system's success, requiring advanced academic qualifications, practical expertise, and technical competencies to help taxpayers efficiently fulfill their obligations.

During the session, FTA specialists presented initiatives focused on developing national talent, upgrading digital services for agents, standardising procedures, improving institutional integration, and strengthening data quality and oversight. Ultimately, the initiative seeks to leverage the skills of local professionals to build a highly accurate, professional, and sustainable tax environment.
