On Monday, 2 June 2026, in Brazzaville, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Treasury Christian Yoka officially launched a national sensitisation campaign aimed at informing the public and private sectors about the new fiscal provisions introduced in the 2026 Finance Law (Law No. 42‑2025 of 31 December 2025). The ceremony, attended by Ludovic Itoua, Director General of Taxation and Domains (DGID), Brice Voltaire Etou Obami, President of the National Order of Accountants (ONEC‑C), and representatives of parliamentary finance committees, underscored the importance of transparent implementation of the law’s updated tax obligations. The campaign will employ a series of workshops, radio broadcasts and disseminate informational materials to ensure that businesses, tax administrators and civil‑society actors understand the revised tax rates, exemptions and compliance requirements. Emphasis was placed on fostering voluntary compliance, reducing tax evasion and supporting the government’s revenue‑mobilisation goals for the 2026 fiscal year. By promoting awareness and understanding of the new provisions, the Ministry seeks to strengthen fiscal governance and enhance public confidence in the country’s financial management frameworks.
