On Tuesday, 16 June 2026, Brazzaville witnessed the official inauguration of the national campaign to sensitise citizens and institutions about the Certified Electronic Billing System (SFEC). The ceremony, presided over by Paul Malié, Chief of Staff to Minister Christian Yoka, featured addresses from key figures including Ludovic Itoua, Director General of Taxation and Domains (DGID), and Séraphin Ndion, Director of General Verifications and Research (DVGR). The event showcased an interactive demonstration of the SFEC platform, highlighting its user‑friendly interface, real‑time transaction tracking, and capacity to mitigate tax fraud. A moderated panel discussion followed, bringing together tax officials, representatives of the private sector and civil‑society organisations to exchange views on implementation challenges and expectations.
