The convening highlighted the successful rollout of the Tax and Revenue Management System (TaRMS), the Electronic Single Window System, and the broader fiscalisation agenda that have collectively boosted revenue collection and streamlined customs and domestic tax procedures. Participants noted a 12 % uplift in total revenue compared with the previous fiscal year, attributed to enhanced compliance mechanisms, expanded electronic services, and the integration of artificial‑intelligence tools for risk‑based audits. The meeting also marked the endorsement of ZIMRA’s 2025‑2030 Strategic Plan, a roadmap aligned with Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 that prioritises customer‑centric service, integrity, innovation and sustainable economic development. Stakeholders were urged to continue collaborative initiatives that foster trade facilitation and fiscal stability.
